Our Sins Forgotten

Emails & Questions
Remembering our Sin?

Q: Will we remember our sinful selves when we enter the Kingdom?

A: Considering how forgetful we are, hopefully, we will forget our sins.  After all, why dwell on what we have been forgiven?   He will, however, chose to  remember our sins no more.  If He chooses to forget,  when that time comes, who are we to bring it up or to even remember what  our sinfulness or sins were?  A time is coming when the slate, so to  speak, is going to be wiped clean, completely clean, never to be recalled again.  Our sinful nature  cannot enter eternity.  We look forward to our quickening, when we  will be reborn, and become like Him, as it is written --

(1Jn 3:2) Beloved, now we are  children of the FATHER , and it is not yet revealed what we will be. But  we know that, when He is revealed, we will be like Him; for we will see  Him just as He is.

AND?  He will remember our sins no more:

Heb 8:12  For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

AND AGAIN:

Heb 10:17  And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

To Repeat, and Source:

Heb 10:16  "This is the covenant  that I will make with them: 'After those days,' says YaHWeH, 'I will put  My laws on their heart, I will also write them on their mind;' " then  He says,
Heb 10:17  "I will remember their sins and their iniquities no more."

Jer 31:33  But this is the  covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days,  says YaHWeH: I will put My law in their inward parts, and in their heart  will I write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people:
Jer 31:34  and they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and  every man his brother, saying, Know YaHWeH; for they shall all know Me,  from the least of them to the greatest of them, says YaHWeH: for I will  forgive their iniquity, and their sin will I remember no more.

Yes, this is specific to the children of Israel, the promise of their eventual salvation as a whole nation, a whole people, but this does include us, non-Jewish, non-Israeli who have come to believe, we then too, become part of the Household of the Living God, YaH and His Son, YaHshua.

Eph 2:22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

Gal 6:10  So then, as we have opportunity, let's do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.

1Cor 3:15  If any man's work is burned, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, but as through fire.
1Cor 3:16  Don't you know that you are a temple (House) of the FATHER, and that the FATHER's Spirit lives in you?

Eph 3:3 ...how that by revelation the mystery was made known to me (Paul), as I wrote before in few words,
Eph 3:4  by which, when you read, you can perceive my understanding in the mystery of the messiah;
Eph 3:5  which in other generations was not made known to the children of men, as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit;
Eph 3:6  that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of His promise in the messiah YaHshua through the Good News, ...

It is the sin that will not be  remembered, not the people.   Those quickened, becoming like YaHshua,  will recognize each other, just as the Patriarchs and others will  recognize each other, as they sit at the Kings table -- and even those  invited to the Wedding Feast -- Revelation 19:9 -- we are also told that for those we lose -- family members in the flesh -- those possibly from our own family, refusing us and our Lord --  rejecting us is rejecting Him and to reject Him is to reject us -- of those we count as lost, all because we refuse their way, siding with our Savior and brother YaHshua, for those we may lose, we are to be rewarded with an even greater number --

Mat 10:34  "Don't think that I came to send peace on the earth. I didn't come to send peace, but a sword (sword divides, explained in the next verse).
Mat 10:35  For I came to set a man at odds against his father, and a  daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her  mother-in-law.
Mat 10:36  A man's foes will be those of his own household.
Mat 10:37  He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of  me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me isn't worthy of me.

The Harsh reality of our  calling:  Something to be expected.  We may not like it, but in a  peaceful world ,or time, or place we may be fortunate enough to live, we are tolerated.  In other times our brothers and sisters were literally turned over to the  religious authorities for punishment, even by their own families.  If we preached any other Messiah, other than the one they preach, other than their JESUS, or ISUS, or Iesvs, it could mean the death penalty.  Back in the Ages of Darkness, to deny the ISUS of then, in favor of Yoshua, Yehshua, or YaHshua, was a dangerous thing, and lead to being rejected, even to offered up to death by our own family.  Harsh, but true.  And we may once again see those days -- Revelation 13.

Thankfully, for us and our brothers and sisters living in this country -- a country that has helped to hold off the evil, even to subduing the evil that is still present, seeking to murder the true children of the Living God,  We, living in this country of religious freedoms, for this present time, have certain protections and those of different opinions and callings are tolerated, and still, in these modern times, many living in  other countries, especially those in Muslim controlled territories, have their lives threatened, even by their own family members, and are in constant physical danger.  Not already  killed, they have to remain hidden, one way or another, and to expose themselves to their families, they are either shunned, or the threat of death, even from their own family members, hangs over their heads.  To be a  Christian, of any sort, in a Muslim country is against the law, and a  special tax has to be paid, but for a Muslim, in a Muslim country, converting to any kind of Christianity, or other religion for that matter, it is the death penalty, and this  usually carried out by family members, or even the courts.  To this very day, this is still  going on.

So, those words of YaHshua, are not what He wants, but are a  warning of what to expect.  He is warning those who would follow Him,  even a little bit, about what to expect in the road ahead.  You and I both, and many others  have found these words, like them or not, to be true.  Others have found  them more true than we have, with their very lives.  Imagine the excitement of our first true awakening, and seen the Word of truth so clearly, and the immediate desire to share with family members, and coworkers.  In some countries, if you let that excitement lose, it could be your life, or being brought before the religious lawyers to be judged and imprisoned or killed.

In our modern world of enlightenment, did you know that it is illegal for a Jew to live in Saudi Arabia?  That is it against Muslim Law, for a Muslim to deny Islam for another religion, by penalty of death?  Don't believe me, it does not take much research to discover these truths.  And with today's current conditions, it is much easier to believe then, say, a decade ago.  Russian, trying to annihilate the people of Ukraine, and Hamas, mass murdering Israelis.  Which is worse, the Russians killing thousands upon thousands of civilians?  Or Hamas pillaging like unbridled savages?  And we live in a Modern, Highly educated world?  What has changed with all of this knowledge?  Nothing.
