His Name and Salvation

His Name
His Name and Your Salvation
His Name Leads to Salvation -- His Name above all other Names!

(Php 2:9)  Wherefore God also has highly exalted Him, and given Him a NAME which is above every name:

(Pro 30:4) “… what is His name, and what is His son's name, if you can tell?
CAN YOU?

Let’s cut right to the bone of the matter, no long diatribes or complicated research, just straight and simple, right from your own bible. So, open your bible and read the following verses:

(Act 2:20-21)  The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the Name of the Lord shall be saved.

(Rev 2:3) I know you are enduring patiently and bearing up for My name's sake, and you have not grown weary.
(Rev 3:5) The one who conquers will be clothed thus in white garments, and I will never blot his (your) name out of the book of life. I will confess his (your) name before my Father and before his angels.
(Rev 3:8) "'I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut. I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept My word and have NOT denied My name.
(Rev 3:12) The one who conquers, I (YaHshua) will make him a pillar in the temple of My God. Never shall he go out of it, and I will write on him the Name of my God (the Father), and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down from My God out of heaven, and My own New Name.

(John 1:12) But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, to them that believe on His Name:

(Rom 10:13) For whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved.

(Joel 2:32)  And everyone who calls on the Name YaHWeH will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as YaHWeH has said, among the survivors whom YaHWeH calls.

(Psa 116:13)  I will take the cup of salvation (yeshua), and call upon the Name of YaHWeH.

(Isa 12:2-4)  Behold, God is my salvation (yeshua); I will trust, and not be afraid: for the YaH YaHWeH is my strength and my song; He also is become my salvation (yeshua). Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation  (yeshua).  And in that day shall you say, Praise YaHWeH (HalleluYaH), call upon His Name, declare His doings among the people, make mention that His Name is exalted (Known).

How about that, our Savior is going to have a New Name (Rev 3:12) and He is going to put it on those that are His, along with our Heavenly Father’s Name, which does not change, and the name of the New Jerusalem.  And to those who believe in His Name, will be called the "sons of God".

I should not have to go any further, not really you either accept this or you don’t. There is a "book" and your name is in it, and your name is subject to "removal" or being "sealed" forever. These verses are not speaking figuratively – They are plain and by these verses it is made plain that your name means something, as does the Name of our Savior and of our Heavenly Father.  We have Two Witnesses, you have just read from both of them, the New Covenant and the Old Covenant agree.

Actually that is a backward statement -- The Father's Name and the Name of His Son is first and foremost, our names being secondary. Being the self-centered beings that we are it really is no surprise that we would relegate the personal identity of our Creator to a secondary position while putting our own identity in this world as something important. We then dare to suggest the Holy Identity of our Savior is subject to change and even substitution, or being replaced by whatever men imagine. The Name of our Heavenly Father is obscured to the point of nonexistence -- some in the Fog of Religion may even know His Holy Name but do not want you to call on it, to say.  Their excuse is that it is too Holy to say themselves, much less for it to cross the lips of gentiles.  This may seem to be no big deal when challenged and of little concern, that is, until you consider the verses this article began with.   Push comes to shove in the religious arena and when the truth is clear, when the deception is uncovered the pat response is, Names don't matter, they say, being pushed into that corner, you know, the one uncovering the fact the name "Jesus" is not the Name or our Savior, that His Name, His official Identity has been changed. It is difficult, very difficult, to admit this error, to accept the fact you have been hood-winked, fooled, and deceived -- especially so for those who have been teaching in that false name for most of their lives -- how do you go back, how to do you admit your error.   Seeing how your name matters, and is to be found in the book of Life, then how much more His Name?

Under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit of the Father and the Son, Peter said --

Acts 4:12 "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other Name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." NIV (check any translation you want, this need no interpretation, it says what it says, from one of the First sermons Peter gave, after our Lord and Savior, YaHshua ascended back to the Heavenly Throne)

But wait, there is more and the following verses say it all --

(Rom 10:13) ... for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." NIV
(Rom 10:13) For whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved. KJV
(Act 2:21) And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Peter Quoting Joel)
(Php 2:9-11) Therefore God has highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the NAME that is above every name, so that at the name of YaHshua every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that YaHshua the Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

After reading these verses who would dare say His Name is not important and that we can replace His Birth Name with another, different name? Who? Well, it seems just about everyone, from the translators to the preachers and teachers to the approval of the lay members. I have taken the liberty to remove the false, bogus name, Jesus, and replace it with His given birth name, a name that has been available for use from the beginning. Still there will be those who claim otherwise and will refuse His birth Name for a Name that never existed till about 400 years ago. The other alternate name, IESVUS, can be traced back further than that, this being the name used in the original 1611 King James Version, that people erroneously call the “Authorized Version”.  The thought that is left with the Lay Members is that this is God Authorized, or at the Least the version authorized by the Church -- and this thinking would be wrong -- The words, Authorized Version, come from the translators of the KJV acknowledging that the version they prepared was and is Authorized by the King of England, in other words, a government authorized version.  Find a copy of the original King James Translation and read the preface and the dedication to the King.
What happens is that the His Birth Name does not become important to those that have for so many years been praying to, calling on and listening to sermon after sermon in the false name, JESUS. Of course this bogus name is important, and some claim, inspired, but when the real truth is unveiled the vast majority suddenly decide it is not that important, while others begin cursing those who would dare uncover this deception.

Names Matter
From the very beginning names have had meaning and they still do. The Creator named his first creation and then allow created man, made from the elements of this Earth, to name the animals of that creation (Gen 2:19). Prophets of old were named and given names that either described their mission or the time they lived in.
It was a popular custom for people to give names that were connected to the god, or gods, they worshiped, or to apply names that were connected to some major event. The Israelis were no different, this was a common practice.
Reading the book of the Kings 1 & 2 you see names of individuals directly connected to the name of the God of Israel, YHWH (Greek –iah). Especially of note are the last few chapters of the second book of Kings -- a time of religious fervor an open demonstration of the peoples love for their gods. These religious people had fallen so far away from the knowledge of the one true God, YaHWeH, that even though many of them carried His name within their own they did not know who He was.

Recapping an Historical Event
They had placed idols upon every hill and they had filled the Temple with every kind of iconic representations of false gods possible – accepting all gods as equal, but the God of all creation, the God of Abraham had gotten so far pushed to the background He had been forgotten. How did this all start? Solomon grew older and weary of his nagging wives, whom he loved, he continued to give in to their demands for religious representation – he turned Israel into a religious paradise, by the standards of the world. And how do we know this?

(1Ki 11:1-2) Now King Solomon loved many foreign women, along with the daughter of Pharaoh: Moabite, Ammonite, Edomite, Sidonian, and Hittite women, from the nations concerning which YaHWeH had said to the people of Israel, "You shall not enter into marriage with them, neither shall they with you, for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods." Solomon clung to these in love.
(1Ki 11:3) He had 700 wives, princesses, and 300 concubines. And his wives turned away his heart.
(1Ki 11:4) For when Solomon was old his wives turned away his heart after other gods, and his heart was not wholly true to the LORD (YHWH) his God, as was the heart of David his father. (Note: David was no less a sinner, but his attitude, his mind was in a state of repentance, or sorrow for sins he committed.  He struggled to stay right with YaHWeH, but, apparently his son, Solomon ,did not)
(1Ki 11:5-6) For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites. So Solomon did what was evil in the sight of the LORD (YHWH) and did not wholly follow the LORD (YHWH), as David his father had done.
(1Ki 11:7-8) Then Solomon built a high place for Chemosh the abomination of Moab, and for Molech the abomination of the Ammonites, on the mountain east of Jerusalem. And so he did for all his foreign wives, who made offerings and sacrificed to their gods. ESV

Many years after Solomon is buried the Kings of Isarel, one after the other follow in his footsteps, continuing tise tolerance toward these other religions.  Israel had become a very religious state, a very religious people, and along with their kings they worshiped whomever they pleased -- after all, everyone is just looking for god in different ways, right?  But something happens -- during the rule of Josiah (whose name means, Found of YaH) that one day during a work project at the Temple, a book was found – the Book of the Law, the Torah -- imagine that, the Torah has been lost?  The Temple of YaHWeH had become a center of religious tolerance, filled with the statues of every god for every person all thanks to King Solomon and his 700 foreign wives, not to mention his 300 concubine. Amazingly the people of all Israel had forgotten all about the Book of Law (Torah) containing the covenant made with YaHWeH.

Apparently while renovating the existing Temple to accommodate more images of other gods a wall or partition had been removed exposing a scroll that had been tucked away, perhaps for safe keeping by some forgotten priest who saw what was happening and for safe keeping, wisely stored it away.

(2Ki 22:8) And Hilkiah (whose name means, Portion of YaH) the high priest said to Shaphan (whose naem means, from its hiding) the secretary, "I have found the Book of the Law in the house of the LORD(YHWH)." And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, and he read it.
(2Ki 22:9) And Shaphan the secretary came to the king, and reported to the king, "Your servants have emptied out the money that was found in the house and have delivered it into the hand of the workmen who have the oversight of the house of YaHWeH."  (Note: The King had commanded that the silver donations collected at the entry of the Temple as worshipers of the many gods represented there, was to be given to the workers doing the work -- possibly making room for more niches to accommodate more god representations -- there is money to be made from pilgrims and locals)
(2Ki 22:10) Then Shaphan the secretary told the king, "Hilkiah the priest has given me a book." And Shaphan read it before the king.
(2Ki 22:11) When the king heard the words of the Book of the Law, he tore his clothes.
(2Ki 22:12) And the king commanded Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Achbor the son of Micaiah, and Shaphan the secretary, and Asaiah the king's servant, saying,
(2Ki 22:13) "Go, inquire of the LORD (YHWH) for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that has been found. For great is the wrath of the LORD (YHWH) that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not obeyed the words of this book, to do according to all that is written concerning us."

The Book of the Law was lost and now is found and brought to this young King's attention and when it was read to him he acted. He realized how far they had slide and he believed the words he read and set about correcting thing. What did he do?  From the beginning of Josiah's rule, as a young boy of only 8 years (verse 1), he had tried to live a life pleasing to YaHWeH.  His God, as King David had been loyal to YaHWeH, so Josiah lived, as best he knew.  Still, He had inherited a Kingdom filled with other gods, even the Temple of YaHWeH being remodeled to make room for more. Notice, however, how and in what order the Torah was presented to the King.  First Shephan read off the events of the day, the progress report on the work at the Temple, then, almost as an afterthought, Shephan the secretary to the Priest Hilkiah, presented the long lost Torah to Josiah -- how far the people had slide away from YaHWeH is evident in order of the report to the King.  Now, things were about to change.

(2Ki 23:4) And the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest and the priests of the second order and the keepers of the threshold to bring out of the temple of YaHWeH all the vessels made for Baal, for Asherah, and for all the host of heaven. He burned them outside Jerusalem in the fields of the Kidron and carried their ashes to Bethel.
(2Ki 23:5) And he deposed the priests whom the kings of Judah had ordained to make offerings in the high places at the cities of Judah and around Jerusalem; those also who burned incense to Baal, to the sun and the moon and the constellations and all the host of the heavens.
(2Ki 23:6) And he brought out the Asherah from the house of YaHWeH, outside Jerusalem, to the brook Kidron, and burned it at the brook Kidron and beat it to dust and cast the dust of it upon the graves of the common people. (Note: Kidron is the Valley of Hinnom -- Gehenna -- the very place the women of Isarel offered up their own children to the Fire God Molech)
(2Ki 23:7) And he broke down the houses of the male cult prostitutes who were in the house of  YaHWeH, where the women wove hangings for the Asherah.
(2Ki 23:8) And he brought all the priests out of the cities of Judah, and defiled the high places where the priests had made offerings, from Geba to Beersheba. And he broke down the high places of the gates that were at the entrance of the gate of Joshua (YaHshua) the governor of the city, which were on one's left at the gate of the city.
(2Ki 23:9) However, the priests of the high places did not come up to the altar of the LORD (YaHWeH) in Jerusalem, but they ate unleavened bread among their brothers.  (Note: It is possible that this cleaning out of all the pagan gods took place during the Passover.  The priest of the pagan gods, however, kept this Passover outside of Jerusalem, with brothers in worship of other gods.)
(2Ki 23:10) And he defiled Topheth, which is in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, that no one might burn his son or his daughter as an offering to Molech. (child sacrifice)
(2Ki 23:11) And he removed the horses that the kings of Judah had dedicated to the sun, at the entrance to the house of the LORD (YaHWeH), by the chamber of Nathan-melech the chamberlain, which was in the precincts. And he burned the chariots of the sun with fire.
(2Ki 23:12) And the altars on the roof of the upper chamber of Ahaz, which the kings of Judah had made, and the altars that Manasseh had made in the two courts of the house of YaHWeH, he pulled down and broke in pieces and cast the dust of them into the brook Kidron.
(2Ki 23:13) And the king defiled the high places that were east of Jerusalem, to the south of the mount of corruption, which Solomon the king of Israel had built for Ashtoreth the abomination of the Sidonians, and for Chemosh the abomination of Moab, and for Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.
(2Ki 23:14) And he broke in pieces the pillars and cut down the Asherim and filled their places with the bones of men.
(2Ki 23:15) Moreover, the altar at Bethel, the high place erected by Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin, that altar with the high place he pulled down and burned, reducing it to dust. He also burned the Asherah.
(2Ki 23:16) And as Josiah (yoshiYaH – founded of YaH) turned, he saw the tombs there on the mount. And he sent and took the bones out of the tombs and burned them on the altar and defiled it, according to the word of the LORD (YaHWeH) that the man of God proclaimed, who had predicted these things.

– This happened in a period of time that the people of Israel were at the height of their religious fervor, their religious glory. They were very religious, having accepted all the religions around them and then some. We find ourselves in a similar world today. Some think everyone is looking for or to god in different ways and by different names -- same god, just different methods -- but as we read the biblical record we see this is an attitude of the world not of our Creator.  From this account, a period in the Israelis history, we clearly see that this attitude is not correct, far from it.

(Exodus 20:4) Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
(Exodus 20:5-6) Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I  YaHWeH your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; and showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
(Exodus 34:14) For thou shalt worship no other god: for YaHWeH, whose Name is Jealous, is a jealous God:

(Joshua 24:19) And Joshua (YaHshua) said to the people, You cannot serve the LORD (YaHWeH): for He is an holy God; He is a jealous God; He will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins. KJV

(Nah 1:2) The LORD (YaHWeH) is a jealous and avenging God; the LORD (YaHWeH) is avenging and wrathful; the LORD (YaHWeH) takes vengeance on His adversaries and keeps wrath for His enemies. ESV

From these few verses we can see that the God of Israel, YaHWeH, does not take kindly to the abuse of His Name, and is not so tolerant of those that would run to other gods or apply His attributes to another gods – dead gods, fake gods, gods of wood and stone, gods of the mind, fake gods, fake and false names. Our God is the God of Israel, YaHshua, having come in the flesh. When He returns it will not be with tolerance toward all religions, accepting the names of false gods for His Holy Name. He is a Jealous God – imagine – the Creator of ALL THINGS is JEALOUS of His Name and how it is used and does not like it when false gods are given credit for what HE alone has done and can do.

Remember the verse I quoted earlier? Acts 4:12, “…there is no other Name found among men by which we must be save”? Good, now ask your-self, what name was given to our Messiah at birth? The Messiah (YaH’s  Anointed,  what is His Name, can you tell?) was given a Name that would be found among men, not among angels, not in heaven, but among men. A Name Mary and Joseph were commanded to name Him (Luke 1:31). This Name would be a declaration of who He is, where He is from and who His Father is -- by a Name from His Heavenly Father identifying His Son. Read Matthew 1:21 -- Mary did not come up with a name for our Savior, Joseph did not dream up a name, no, they were given a name to name Him, they were commanded, what to name Him. The messenger angel Gabriel told them the Name the Father wanted Him to be Named. The Name delivered to Joseph and Mary was not “Jesus” -- it may say that in your Bible but that is a false name used to replace our Savior's true Birth Name, a Name that has been among men from the beginning. This false name, Jesus, finds its origins in the Latin, a twisting of the Greek, followed more twisting in the English from the twisted Latin leading the Christian world away from His birth Name YaHshua -- that would be Joshua in Old English -- that name was present with the translators then, as it is now and even before, at the Birth of our Savior, while the replacement name, JESUS, is only about 400 years old, an invented name, a deception that is pronounced by some as HeyZeus.  Wake-up, Names do Matter.

YaHshua, replaced in the New Testament by the bogus name, Jesus.  His proper Birth Name, YaHshua, can be seen in the Old Testament of the English bibles as Joshua, which is, or should be pronounced as Y'shua, or more correctly, YaHshua – the point being – the bible translators have always had His correct Name but used a replacement instead. The Name Joshua is the Old English transliteration of His Hebrew/Jewish birth name and this name has never been lost. The modern pronunciation for the Old English Joshua would be YaHshua – oh, have I already said that, well, how many times is too many? This name, YaHshua, was a very popular name found among the people of the first century and makes what Peter said stand out all the more when we read Acts 4:12 – again -- Pick a version, any version.

“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” NIV
“And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” RVS
“Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” KJV
And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." ISV

A name found “among men, by which "we must be saved” -- not might, not maybe and not perhaps but “must”. When that was written the bogus name “Jesus" did not exist. “Joshua” is YaHshua and when properly pronounced is still “Yahshua”. The name Jesus, however, is never pronounced YaHshua and the name from which the false name Jesus comes from, IESVS, is not ever pronounced as YaHshua either. The bogus name JESUS is a replacement name that can be and is pronounced in most of the Latin and Spanish countries as Hey-Zeus.

Joshua
This name "Joshua", is a pretty good attempt at a transliteration (not to be mistaken for a translation) of the Name given to our Savior at birth and this Name is found in the Old Testament -- one whole book of the Torah carries this Name found among men, the Book of Joshua, properly pronounced, YaHshua.  However, this name, given to Him at birth, is never used in reference to the Messiah, our Savior, in the King James version of the New Testament, even though this would be far more accurate than the false name "Jesus" -- it is not even an honest attempt at preserving the only name "by which we must be saved". His Name has been changed and the inquiring mind should be asking, Why?

Even then the pronunciation of the name "Joshua" has been perverted in the English by the misuse of the letter "j". It is only the English and American speaking tongues that twist the pronunciation with the perverting of the “J” from its original pronunciation of the “Y” sound as in Yod, the name of that letter in Hebrew.  Many European and Spanish speaking and other parts of European countries correctly pronounce "Joshua" as "Yahshua" but when it comes to the New Testament the Name is strangely changed to Jesus and then pronounced as Hey-zeus, by just as many countries.  HeyZeus is the Spanish for Jesus, but in the English speaking countries it is GeezUS -- none, not one being a transliteration of His Birth Name.  Again, His birth Name has been in available and read and seen for over 3,000 years, yet the translators have changed His Name to something else, something completely different.  No matter what the defenders of this bogus name say, it is not an equivalent.  And equivalent, by definition is -- 1. Being essentially equal to something -- a false name is not equal to a proper name.  There is not equivalent, YaHshua is to say, YaH is Savior or Salvation, or translated out -- My God YaH is my salvation.  Now go back to the top of the page and read Isayah, 12:2, again, with His Name restored.

The changing of His birth Name had already begun shortly after the fall of the Jewish Christians and the rise of the Gentile Christians. The Latin Church becoming the most notable. From the Greek twisting of His Name in the Greek form, Inesous, to the Latin, IESous, pronounced Yesous (HeySooS then to Heyzeus).  What these attempts or deliberate changes had in common was the dropping of the H letter, similar to the name found among Messianic movement of “Yeshua” -- Jews that do confess Yeshua as Savior -- but even they have been fooled.  Used as a name, yeshua, merely means, salvation, His name is not present or properly said -- go back, again, and re-read Isa 12:2 if you need to see this.

With the Latin’s twisting the Greek more to their likening, it became IESVS, and later, in the English to IESUS, with more and more pronouncing his name as Hey-Zeus, until the change in the pronunciation of the letter From I to J was complete, then the name Geezus appeared.  During this period of time came the Church of England breaks away from the Mother Church of Rome and daring to produce an English version of the bible. Being “authorized” by the government -- this English version is then authorized by King James himself – thus the name, the King James Version, not the version of YaHWeH, not the God Version, unless you think the King of England is or was God.  This breaking away from the Roman Mother Church actually caused the Church of Rome to begin preparing a new work, in the translation of the Bible, themselves.  They had long held it to be a grave sin for the common man, the common workers of the fields and meat shops to have in their possession a bible.  But things were about to change.

The original 1611 version of the King James Bible printed the Name of our Savior as "iesvs", following the Roman, or Latin replacement name, but later revisions in the English would change this to "jesus", apparently not wanting to follow the Latin form and by changing from the I letter to the J for a change in pronunciation -- both are wrong, of course.  We see that about this time, the pronunciation of the letter “ I “ was changing. The “j” was originally the small letter for the capitol “I” .  The small j began to find take on a life of its own, eventually claiming a spot in the alphabet with a different sound – from the “I” to the “J”, replacing the “I” in the original twisting of His Name. Those claiming the Original Greek as inspired are off base too, pronouncing Iesous as Hey-sow-us, again, nowhere near our Savior’s actual birth name. There are a couple of other variant spellings, none approaching the Name given to our Savior, YaHshua (OT, Old English transliteration, Joshua).

Anyone that tries to convince you that the KJV Bible is the only authorized version or that it is the only Holy Spirit sanctioned writings, and that all others are of Satan, are out of their minds or have been fooled by years of clever teaching just like most in the Christian community. In fact, it is not the book, not the letters, it is the thought that produced the first words representing those thoughts that were inspired by the Holy Spirit -- the words are mere copies of what was originally said, or thought or revealed.  We have a Bible that gives us the record of that INSPIRATION.  Too many have placed the book or record of those inspired events as the focus of Holy Spirit inspiration.  I don’t know how else to say it, it is not the record on paper, passed down to us, it is the thought, the lesson the message that was inspired and we have the opportunity to read about it and take it to heart, to apply what is conveyed to our own lives.  We read and then we hear with our inner ear what was said.

The most famous translation of all time, perhaps, is the KJV Bible, a bible translation backed by a corrupt King and fifty plus handpicked scholars of languages -- it was a government project, make no mistake. They plagiarized much of the work, when it came to translating the New Testament, taking from William Tyndale's previous work and copied from other translators and translations before them, must of which, also was taken from the Bishop Bible, before it.  Their publication, however, led to one of the biggest cover-ups in the history of publishing – replacing our Savior’s Name with a completely new and different name -- denying our Savior’s Name, the only Name by which we MUST be saved –

(Act 4:12)  Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. KJV
This verse is a witness against the KJV and every other version that has followed in its footsteps by replacing our Savior’s birth Name with a fabricated, made up name that never existed before the King James Version came into being.  His Name was already becoming twisted and changed, first by the Greeks and then by the Romans, but the English took it a step further, changing it completely, and when backed into a corner, these defenders of the KJV say it is an equivalent, and does not matter that much, even though they themselves preace Repentance in the name of JEUSUS?  The How much more should this be true in the Name He was born with, a Name he was Named by His Heavenly Father?  That Name, a Name tied to our Salvation is NOT Geezus, it is YaHshua.  The message is there but the DOOR is closed to Salvation.  How can you confess another by anothe name and expect Him to answer you?   Identity is important, it is important to you all through your whole life, the identity you yourself have imprinted on you, your address, your bank account, your drivers license, the name of your family and your name connecting you to that family, your total identity rests on the name you have.  Who much More, then, our Savior?  What did He say?

(John 5:43)  I am come in My Father's Name, and you receive Me not: if another shall come in his own name, him you will receive. (This was a prophetic statement, and we bear witness that this has become a reality)
(John 10:1)  Verily, verily, I say to you, He that enters not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
(John 10:9)  I am the door: by Me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
By accepting another name, by calling on another name for salvation would, and is, the same as going into a different house by a the wrong door.  YaHshua says He is the Door by which we must enter.  If we want Him to recognize us we must recognize Him –
(John 5:44)  How can you believe if you accept praise from one another, yet make no effort to obtain the praise that comes from the only God?

But wait, you say, I have had many prayers answer in the name Jesus?  How do you explain that?

Prayer is an act of faith.  Our Savior and God the Father are so merciful and over flowing with love for us that by faith many are healed and prayers are answer.  This is a merciful gift given to everyone.  Rain is a miracle, taken for granted, but a miracle none the less and this miracle pours out on the good and the bad, on the Jew and the Gentile.  Answered prayer is much like the rain.  In His great mercy He created the law of faith, as a gift to all mankind, to help relieve some of the pain and suffering in the Flesh.  But make not mistake, this act of kindness is not the mark of who or who is not God, or who or who is not a prophet of God.  Do you suppose that only your Christian prayers are heard and answered?  There are many witnesses in every language and nationality on the Face of the Earth that will tell you they have experience answered prayer, even though they do not pray to the God your pray to.  For more on this go to this link -- Faith, Will He Find it?

Names Have Meaning
Names do mean something and do have meaning. This is a fact, a truth, we see how true when we consider our own personal identity. Your name says a lot, it puts you in a certain family and marks which member of that family you are. It is by this name you draw a pay check, collect on Social Security, or put on a marriage license, etc., etc. History is founded upon names, the names of Kings set the time lines, names of the villains as well as the heroes mark chapters in the record of men. To suggest names are not that important is to ignore history and to ignore our Creator and our Savior. Every knee will bow one day, like it or not – every knee.

(Rom 14:11) for it is written, "As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God."

And it is written:
(Isa 45:23) By Myself I have sworn; from My mouth has gone out in righteousness a word that shall not return: 'To me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear allegiance.'

Wow, can you hear that, can you take that in? Does this impact you the way it does me? Even the wicked before they are thrown into the lake of fire will bow to Him and they will swear the truth, that YaHshua is the Messiah and Savior, Son of the Living God, whose Name He came in. This is powerful stuff and the translators of the Words have been careless in this one most important thing, the identification of the Creator and Savior of all things.
See the list of names I have presented in “Shouting His Name” for a revealing look into how the name of our Creator and Savior has been hidden -- people have trouble seeing it. Satan would love to keep this a secret and he has his agents trying to keep the cover-up going. In the end, however, the Creator Himself will make His name known, it will one day be great among the nations

(Mal 1:11) For from the rising of the sun to its setting My Name will be great among the nations, and in every place incense will be offered to My Name, and a pure offering. For My Name will be great among the nations, says YaHWeH (LORD) of hosts. ESV

Serious Business
That is not all, there is still more that can be said, but let's turn again to the Written Word --
(Psa 79:6) Pour out your wrath on the heathen that have not known you, and upon the kingdoms that have not called upon your Name.

(1Co 1:2) Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in the Christ YaHshua, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of YaHshua the Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:
(John 3:18)He that believes on Him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

This, my friends, is serious business and I hope this small article has helped further the resolve of those having found this truth and taken it to heart. I pray this article may even be of use in opening the eyes of those being called to be saints. Peace to you, your servant, Dan
