Defending Enoch

Emails & Questions

Q - Comment:  The black magic is very real, in fact the 12yr old girls that were trying to kill their friend, must have heard of what you would considered to be mythical, but is a deomnic entity. If you don't believe that the fallen taught those evil things to men and were worshiped as Gods all over the earth, then you will never understand whats coming.

A: You are correct, of course, and all of this, the belief in mythical things, beings and the imaginations of the mind, all being manipulation by Satan and his minions proves this, just as you point out.  This is why we need to stay out of this kind of thing, get away from it, and not spending time salivating over it.  Ever wonder why so many people are excited by these writings, it is like a video game of words and the imagination runs wild with excitement.
If, as you are trying to say this is a proof of some kind then what is it proving that we do not already know?  That there were mythical giants roaming the earth cannibalizing mankind, and that is was all the fault of fallen angels?  If we suppose this is all true then what?  Does it add to the Gospel message?  Nope, not at all.  Does it improve your Christian life?  Again, no.  What it does do, whoever, is to take the fall of man, as Scripture teaches, and lays the blame for Man’s fall on the angels, which of course, as fallen beings would no more be called “sons of God”, due to their fall and change of character, after that of their new father, Satan.  Satan and his angels – if all these writings were truth then these fallen, “sons of God” would have been called “sons of Satan”, or “angels of Satan”.  So, in the Scriptures there is another answer, and not the one found in the mythical book of Enoch.
So, we should move on and learn what we can from our Bibles, not some made up stuff the devils want to use to excite and control your thinking.  What is happening, sadly, is that so many are being influenced to accept pure fantasy as some kind of fact, even as “scripture” by some.  This allows for demonic control over a person eventually and the two 12 year old girls you refer to,  are bottom of the barrel proof of this – small minds unchecked by the truth tend to go astray and are easily influenced.
Stay out of this garbage for as the saying goes; garbage in garbage out.  We are instructed in the Word that it is a shame to even mention the things evil men do, and if you think evil men are then inspired by the devils then it is a shame to mention what they do.  This does not mean we are not to stay alert because they will come at you because you ignore them -- this is the battle -- against principalities and demons in high places, as opposed to battling with the literal flesh it is a spiritual battle, unseen by the world.   Cast this magical and mythical garbage aside, what has darkness to do with the children of the light?

(Rom 13:12)  The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light.
(2Co 6:14)  Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?
(1Jn 1:6)  If we say we have fellowship with Him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.

(Eph 5:11)  Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.

Seem pretty plain to me, instead of defending such demoniacally inspired things why not expose them?  What does the true works of the LIGHT have to do with these dark writings and, or, any of those who accept them as scripture?  It is a sad thing, indeed, a sad, sad thing to see so many accept these fantasy writings as more than they are.  Where are the believers exposing this garbage, where are they, it seems everyone is happy to keep silent as people that would come to the knowledge of our Messiah are turned away to follow after the teachings of demons.
Yes, you are correct in your assessment but your argument in defense of such things is skewed and misplaced.  You want to use the existence of such thing to prove there are devils and demons and then suggest this proves what we already know, they do exist, but to listen to them and promote their evil as something belonging to truth is evil in itself, don't you see this?  Expose them, if you dare, but defend them not.  A believer must not allow themselves to get off track, for the track we are on is narrow, and the track others are on is wide open and leads to destruction.
