YaHshua the Father?

Emails & Questions

Email from reader -- more of a statement than a question -- this statement was made after some exchanges in searching for the truth and I returned an answer to correct the error:  My problem with the statement is the writer thanks me for the "ride" and then blesses me but only after saying our Anointed Savior is the Father -- saying -- YaHshua is the Father.  This simply is not so and I responded, not to argue but in hopes of correcting a truth searcher.  This person I found engaging and educated in the scriptures.  We do not all have the answers to everything at the same time and eventually our Savior will come and the RESTORATION will take place and the thousand years of YaHshua's rule from YaHusalem (Jerusalem) will begin.  What is expressed is a teaching trying to cover a misunderstanding about who YaHshua really is.  What brings this up is the teacing I support that YaHshua in His Glory in Heaven He was YaHWeH.  Others teach this too but then say that YaHWeH is the Father, hence the confusion among everyone as to who the Father, really is.  I hope this answer will help in understanding this simple understanding that has become confusing -- well, it should be simple.

Question?:

Thanks for the ride! (referring to subject/studies on my website)
YHWH became son, The Anointed Savior, to reveal Himself as FATHER (Holy Father in heaven, Everlasting Father).
Thanks for the ride! (sarcasm noted)
May our Father in heaven bless you and guide you!

My Answer -- Response:

The above statement is from your last email and I think it deserves a response.  I will try to be brief.  YHWH is Son but not The Father, John 1:1-3 tells us YaHshua was the Word and was with God the Father.  Also, Matthew 11:27 our Savior said He came to "reveal the Father" -- He did not come to reveal Himself as Father.  Read the scriptures I have supplied for clarity on this.  Yahshua existed before and is identified as the WORD and as YHWH, God of Israel, the Father of Israel but not the Heavenly Father from whom He, YaHshua, came.  He came as Savior, in the flesh, and set about revealing the Father, whom no one knew up to that time.  You are correct in stating YHWH as Yahshua (prior to His fleshly birth), but the only connection with YHWH being identified as Father is with Israel, He is the Father of Israel and of Adam  -- Creator of both -- but He is Not THE Heavenly Father.  Please read the following verses.

John 6:44-46  No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day.  It is written in the Prophets: 'They will all be taught by God.' Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from him comes to me.  No one has seen the Father except the one who is from God; only he has seen the Father.

John 8:38  I am telling you what I have seen in the Father's presence, and you do what you have heard from your father. "

1Jn 2:22  Who is a liar but he that denieth that YaHshua is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

John 14:28  You heard me say, 'I am going away and I am coming back to you.' If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. (Here YaHshua makes it plain, He is not the Father and does not even claim equality with the Father)

John 16:27-28  No, the Father himself loves you because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God (The Father).  I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father."

Heb 2:7  Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:

Heb 2:8  Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.

Heb 2:9  But we see Yahshua, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

Heb 2:10  For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

Heb 2:11  For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

Heb 2:12  Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee. (Whose Name? If you see this and know the answer then it is Yahshua that has made this known to you)

Heb 2:13  And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God (the Father) hath given me.

The Father has a Name and it is a Name he shared with His Son but the Son is not the Father and this knowledge is revealed by YaHshua Himself.  The Father was not realized as the Father prior to YaHshua revealing Him and we see a promise of a revelation from YaHshua to the Believer concerning the Name of our Heavenly Father.  "Our Father in Heaven, Holy is your Name ..." (Matthew 6:9) YaHshua instructs His disciples how to pray and YaHshua first mentions the Father's Name as being Holy and also mention that He is in Heaven.  Yahshua was standing in front of His pupils, if He were the Father the prayer would have been different.  Also, the prayer you mentioned right before YaHshua was taken to the cross is a Prayer to His Heavenly Father, our Heavenly Father and not to Himself.  I pray you see this truth.  Peace, your servant, Dan
